The 2009 Festival of Trees was downsized to a two-day event with the main focus on the Gala Auction. This year’s Festival of Trees will grow slightly to capture the Festival spirit and engage the community, which will features over 100 elaborately decorated two to ten foot trees, of which 15 are larger in scale with gifts to be auctioned off at the formal black tie affair on Saturday, November 20. Other featuresinclude Holiday Shopping with regional merchants, daily entertainment, a ladies PreView Party on Friday night, November 19, and extended hours of the general Tree viewing throughout the three-day event.

The Festival of Trees is accepting applications for volunteer positions for the Auction committee, Mini Trees and Wreaths, Ladies PreView Party, Tree Designers, and Logistics. While many of the directors are already busy at work; however, there are several opportunities for community members to be involved in the planning stages of the Holiday Celebration.

The Festival of Trees raises a third of the revenue for the Performing Arts Center of Wenatchee (PAC) and brings the community together to raise funds and awareness for the PAC to celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season.
